I'm obsessed with the Fred as a Dad series 🥹 makes me feel so soft inside. Bet Fred would he the cutest ever. And so loving and affectionate.

Omg, soft dad Fred is my absolute favourite Fred to write. But I also wrote Grandpa Fred and I don’t know, him with the salt and cayenne pepper look still being soft and sweet, but also spoiling the little one because he is a grandparent and that’s what they do, it hit differently, and I loved it too!

favorite players to read or write about?

I haven’t had the chance to read much recently, been really busy with work and my own writing, but one player I always find time to read is Freddie. I will read just about anything with him.

I also love writing for him. The first fic I wrote was Because two people got drunk, and the second series was If he’s lucky I’ll let him join, both starring Freddie. And I’m very much looking forward to writing and posting no strings in a bit.

how did you get into hockey and why is it so important to you?

I been into hockey my entire life, my brothers played and I kinda grew up around the rink, even started playing a few years ago.

I honestly don’t know how I got into hockey fic, it was during Covid and I had time on my hands? I don’t really remember just sort of happened lol

how was the week at work? doing anything cool this weekend?

We had a day off Monday for Canada Day, so I decided to take the rest of the week off.

I didn’t do a whole lot it was almost 40°C (around 100°F) so it was too hot to do a lot of stuff. I mostly just cleaned up my office - I’m getting ready to redo it - and got my hair done. We’ve been dog sitting so I’ve been trying to train the puppy but he is so stubborn it’s insane

You mentioned. Having the puppy back, how’s that going?

It’s… okay.

He doesn’t know a lot of commands, is wildly impatient, thinks he can whine to get his way and is very stubborn (kind of like a dog version of me😂). We’ve been trying to train him to lie down, stay, and leave it, he isn’t picking it up very well.

On top of that, my dog knows all the tricks and will do them and than look at me like “where is my treat” she will do it in a different room too and when she doesn’t get rewarded she’ll start barking for treat which gets the puppy barking. Also, when my dog lies down or gives a paw the puppy doesn’t recognize what she’s doing which doesnt help.

If anyone has tricks on training one dog while you have another dog, please send them my way. We only have him for about 2 more weeks, but our goal is to send him home better than he came.
