Kieren had actually been enjoying himself. He was somewhat relaxed, the booze helping him quite a bit, and for once, he wasn’t drowning in the terrible thoughts that constantly filled his head. After sitting for a bit, Kieren decided to take his usual route along the walls. Cigarette in hand, he indulged in the sweet nicotine, taking a long inhale of it as he walked. Exhaling a cloud, Kieren could see a figure ahead of him through the smoke. As it cleared, familiar features took shape. A tiny frame, dark hair, and large green eyes. Her. What were the odds they’d find one another here? Kieren couldn’t say he minded, though. They’d parted ways several nights ago, after a few hours of remarkably pleasant conversation, and it was only after he made it back to his room that he realized he hadn’t even gotten her name. Smiling, Kieren approached her.
“We meet again.” Kieren said, trying not to appear too happy. Though, seeing her somehow felt like seeing an old friend. “Is this gonna be a habit?” He asked, quirking a brow at her. “Bumping into each other out here?” Kieren stopped beside her, leaning against the wall behind them. “Not that I mind. It was actually a nice conversation we had the other night. Although, I never did get your name.” He extended a hand to her. “I’m Kieren, Kieren Parker.”
