After wandering upon the casino and meeting the 'kind' owner Jack decided to give it a second go. He didn't mind the vibe the place was supposed to give off but that feeling that something was off returned the moment he'd sat at the bar. It wasn't long after he'd had his first drink and was working on his second that the feeling grew stronger. He felt like someone was watching him and saw Luis standing not far away his expression turned sour. He knew the younger man had been watching him for some reason. "And to what do I owe the pleasure, Luis?" Jack asked him before taking another sip of his gin and tonic. His usual. He noticed the way Luis was dressed and curiosity took over him. His expression changed, as if he were already questioning the other. "Do you work here?" he inquired. "Interesting. You must know the owner then. He's quite the generous man. I must say he gave me a decent first impression." Jack had mostly been speaking his thoughts as he'd unraveled the mystery in his head. "Hm. Well, I suppose you can't terrorize me then if I'm simply a customer here." Though Jack had the feeling that Luis would still manage to find a way.

It was the first time Diablo had invited Luis over to his new place. It wasn't exactly all that 'new' at this point. He'd made sure the place was clean before his friend arrived. The place was nice, more spacious but it definitely had a different...touch than Diablo's last place. It was very clear his girlfriend was there quite often. Things like candles and 'decoration towels' had suddenly become a thing. Diablo didn't quite understand the towel thing himself but the candles did smell nice. They were currently on his couch and Diablo had just finished doing a line before sinking back into the couch as his high hit. "Dude, I told you this shit was good." He looked over and grinned at Luis. "You want like, a drink or something?"

Diablo owed Luis some time, he knew that. The guy was still his friend and Diablo didn't really have many of them so he should probably work better at maintaining his friendships. He'd told Luis to meet him at Wonderland after he finished his shift and was already a drink and two shots in when his friend arrived. Time passed and now a few more shots and a couple more drinks in Diablo was completely hammered. He wrapped an arm loosely around Luis' shoulders, a half drunken drink in his hand, and said loudly over the music, "I need a cigarette. We should go outside. C'mon," He dropped his arm and gestured for him to follow him and when they were outside the cool air was relieving from the warm club. He set his cup down beside him so he could get a cigarette out and light it, offering one to Luis. "It was hot as fuck in there," he commented, exhaling smoke as he spoke. "I needed air, but mostly a cigarette." He grinned at the other. "How you feeling? I have...other vices of choice if you're interested."

When Diablo got a text from Luis he figured it was just going to be another he blew off or gave some bullshit excuse to. There was name in the text that caught his attention and made him known on Luis' end it had to be bullshit. 'Malina.' Every instinct inside of Diablo told him this was a trap but there would always be an inkling of anxiety inside of him that whispered what ifs to him. So, assuming he would meet Luis outside of the corn maze like a sane person Diablo waited. Nightfall was upon them though and after a short while Diablo knew he shouldn't have assumed. Luis was an agent of chaos that thrived off of nuisances such as this. Diablo made his way into the corn maze, angrily. He guided his way inside until he found a dead end and immediately shifted to have a better view of the overhead. When he spotted Luis he wanted to dive right into him because he was pissed off, but opted to land behind him and scream, "what the hell is your problem?!" There was a look of terror in his eyes that would have been enough to make any sane man run the opposite direction. Luis was nothing of the sort though and Diablo knew that. "Emergency, my ass. I knew this was all a bunch of fucking bullshit. What is it you really need, Luis?"

Despite living together Diablo and Maleficent did not spend every waking moment together. The two could easily get under each other's skin and time with other people never hurt. Diablo enjoyed the company of the man he was with tonight. Luis was fun in the way Diablo was; chaotic and a menace to the those around them. Diablo had just emerged from the bathroom after doing some lines and had lost the other the crowd. He made his way back to the bar where he spotted his friend and grinned. "Don't tell me you were going to get a drink without me. I know I wasn't gone that long."
