The moment Brayson opened his eyes, the body heat against him was horrifyingly warm. He sucked in a breath, eyes fluttering against his cheek as he felt the crook of the boy's neck next to him-- sweaty and hot. Brayson knew chemo treatments were starting to get rough, but he didn't want to make it even harder by awakening the boy with medication and dumb cancer reminders. Instead, he kissed the sweaty neck and snuggled closer, nipping at his ear with softness. "Wakey, wakey, sunshine. It's almost noon." Brayson knew they had to get to the hospital at some point, but instead, he decided to let Finn go on his own terms. "I know you don't want to, but we have to go sometime."
