Rapunzel was enjoying the new season-- spring! It was still rather chilly out but there was no longer snow on the ground. Not that Rapunzel didn’t like snow. She enjoyed all seasons but thrived more in the warmer weather. She took this as an opportunity to spend the afternoon in the park. She’d brought a canvas and some paints in case she was inspired. And as always she was! She would have sat under her favorite spot under the biggest tree in the park but the ground was still a bit wet. So she opted for the bench instead. She saw a man feeding ducks at the pond and quickly got to work. Ducks were a sign warmer weather was arriving and she loved that the birds were returning! The canvas was a smaller one so the painting didn’t take all that long. Rapunzel was a very talented artist though so details were important to her. Details were a bit easier with pencil than they were with paint but she had very fine brushes that were small enough to get the details right. When she was finished she set her paints aside and carefully carried the canvas over to the man. She tapped him on the shoulder. “I hope you don’t mind but I painted a picture of you feeding ducks! I just get inspired sometimes and can’t help myself. I figured I should at least show you!”
