it’s not what it looks like || aspen & reyna
after just finishing a shift, aspen took it upon herself to walk around. she needed to clear her head. not that a whole lot had been circulating. that was the problem. she needed to circulate her thoughts, get something moving. autopilot was a lonely place sometimes. she moved through the park, but stopped for a moment when she saw something, well, strange. there was a woman sleeping on a bench. she looked totally at peace too. it was strange because asteria didn’t have many issues with homelessness. the cost of living was dirt cheap from being far enough from seattle to be it’s own thing.
“hey-” she hesitated. she didn’t want to wake a slumbering stranger, but she wanted to make sure that she had somewhere to sleep. she moved her hand gently to her shoulder in hopes that it’d help aide her away with little “hey, are you alright?”
