#105: Chatrill- Evolves from Chatot when leveled up while knowing encore (level 34). This colorful flying-type has an affinity -and an ear- for all things music. It constantly taps its talons to a beat inside its head. When it hears poor rhythm or tempo, Chatrill will screech, caw, and smack the music-maker upside the head with a wing that can hit as hard as a baseball bat. Chatrill not only mimics sounds it hears, but will remix these sounds to create beautiful music. These tunes vary depending on Chatrill’s environment; city Chatrill shout songs fashioned from the beeping of horns and coo of Pidove while forest Chatrill warble a natural-sounding chorus of Pokémon cries and the wind. If a Chatrill’s trainer likes a certain genre, Chatrill will sing more songs of that genre. (Name from “chat” and “trill”, referring to a warbling or wavering sound)
