I do have a funny animatronic story for you as well!! I used to work at Journey into Imagination- there was always something or another going wrong on the ride but my favorite was when Figment sprung a leak under his arm, staining the pits of his sweater. People came off the ride and tried to tell us he was broken, to which we just told them to try wearing a sweater in Florida summer and they'd probably pit out too. Way more fun to say that then, 'yeah he broke lol'

That’s awesome that you used to work on the ride! :0 And what a hilarious story. I’ve heard a few funny excuses for malfunctions from cast members. Here’s a personal favorite of mine. “Does anyone need assistance?” “He does.”

In ref to your Nessie movie prop post from a month ago- I had a Nessie picture book as a kid with blurry pictures of the prop that always creeped me out in a way I couldn't explain. It was wild stumbling on the clear picture you posted and being reminded of her- still just as creepy to imagine that under the water! I didn't realize that fear was more common than I thought. Anyway love the blog and love the photos and info you post :) keep it up!!

We’re glad you like it! And I know the feeling; I was a massive Nessie fanatic when I was around 7 or 8 years old, and I had a ton of books. One of them had a picture of a really gritty-quality blob that looked like a head, and it used to scare me into taping that particular page shut.
