Imagine this: Matteusz discovers just how obsessed Charlie is with TV shows. Why? Because that's how Charlie learned the basics of Earth culture. So Charlie's following several different TV shows, and he's so personally into them he actually writes fan fiction. Matteusz finds it funny, and introduces Charlie to Netflix. Of course he tells Miss Quill to buy it immediately, and Charlie drags his bf down with him so they're both binge-watching The Vampire Diaries (Charlie ships Steroline. Matteusz ships Klaroline. They argue about that a lot), Downton Abbey and, of course they watch Pretty Little Liars too. And Charlie is quite vocal about his ships.
