chaubrey headcanons
i couldn’t stop picturing these two being roomies in their dorm/apartment/bella house/wherever. come squeal with me! <3
they always shared a bed. if they didn’t (because of a petty fight or the other bella’s forced them to separate for a night), chloe would always somehow find her way back to aubrey’s room.
chloe is obviously a cuddler. most mornings, aubrey wakes up to find chloe curled into an impossibly small ball, head buried in her shoulder, hands resting on aubrey’s stomach.
what’s not so obvious is that aubrey’s also a cuddler. she likes to hold chloe in her arms, trace shapes over her bare arms, and run her fingers through the red waves.
chloe would eat a bowl of ice cream for breakfast every morning if aubrey didn’t cook waffles and eggs for her.
half of aubrey’s space is taken up by chloe’s things. there’s a basket of colorful hairbands on her bathroom counter, pink and yellow sweatshirts hanging off the furniture, and chloe’s favorite stuffed penguin sitting on aubrey’s bed.
coincidentally, chloe knows where everything of aubrey’s is. she can find all her missing textbooks, lost sets of keys, that one lucky pen aubrey can’t take tests without.
only in privacy will aubrey let chloe touch the sacred pitch pipe. (no, that is not a euphemism!)
after long and stressful days of bella practice, chloe likes to run aubrey a bath with her favorite scented candles and bubbles. even though aubrey claims to hate bubbles, it makes her smile when she looks at them because it was chloe’s idea.
chloe pulls out the puppy dog eyes at least once a week to convince aubrey to have a movie night. it starts out with aubrey’s head on her lap and chloe untangling all the blonde waves. but it ends with chloe snoring face first into a pillow, hand clutching aubrey’s pajama top. (whether aubrey likes the movie playing or not, she doesn’t move an inch until it’s over in fear of waking chloe up.)
their space is their space. at first, chloe was very open to bringing her other friends home to hang out. now, after learning that aubrey hates when outsiders are seeing all of her personal belongings, chloe is very adamant about keeping people out of their space.
