After experiencing resurrection and becoming part of the Cycle of Rebirth that they loved so much, the Dragon of Light Chayil found peace in the beauty of the Horizon and the people they were asked to protect. No longer bogged down by their Dark past, their loving nature finally surfaced in full-- If their unofficial position in Tsadi and Lamed's family, growing collection of pets, and being Alef II's romantic partner meant anything.
Their combat prowess and strength, despite being almost constantly at peace, did not diminish, however; In fact Chayil arguably became stronger because of it, as they regularly patrol the more dangerous areas of Horizon to protect the squishier Sky children from anything that might threaten them-- Even if they're sometimes rewarded with their charges becoming fearful and spiteful of them as a Krill kid.
