“Lions..? Like the real ones that you can pet and listen to while they roar really loud?? Wah! I wanna see them—even if they’re not cubs or tiny anymore. I remember Nii-san reading me a picture book about lions one time when I was still little, and they were always drawn with big, fluffy manes and giant paws. They look so cool!!”

“Wah…!” Having received no warning, the child reacted to the sudden snatching of his being withs shock. He exclaimed his childish cry, eyes growing wide with both curiosity and surprise. Why, he wondered, was Jun picking him up like this? 

                               Then he was given the plush toy. 

Holding the soft, faux animal, yellow hues shined with wonder and young lips curled into a pleasant grin of joy. “Wow!” Haruto exclaimed, “Is this for me..?”
