Camper: So where is Frank from?
Leo: *struggles to think up the answer* *blurts out* America Adjacent.
Frank: *from a distance* Fuck you, Valdez. I want a divorce.
just imagine all of camp half-blood knowing that percy and annabeth clearly have a thing for each other. not because of their banter that toes the line of flirting. not because of their countless hugs. not because of their refusal to go anywhere without each other. but because they watched annabeth kiss percy on the cheek. and both of them turn away to smile to themselves.
imagine a world where the heroes of olympus series was one big crossover. a world where we meet an eleven year old boy named jason, no last name because it reminds him of his mother — a drunk who literally threw him to the wolves as a toddler. jason, who's earliest memory is chewing on a stapler and his older sister tending to the wound on his bottom lip — but he hasn't seen or heard from her since they were separated years ago. jason, who grew up reaching for the sky like a purpose, desperate for a chance to prove himself. jason, who fought to save the world at fifteen years old. and jason, who finds himself in the grand canyon four months later with no memory of who he is or where he came from, feet away from some frantic sixteen year old girl in search of some dude named percy jackson. imagine what this could have been.
Percy should have trained with other weapons than just his sword.
He should have learnt how to fight with a spear, a dagger, how to use a bow, etc.
Not like perfectly but atleast to some extent.
(Actually all demigods learning combat should know how to use a diverse range of weapons and not be limited to just one)
Don't you think?
I totally agree! I like to think that they do, and it's just not explicitly stated in the books unless the plot calls for it lmao.
