#chdawareness week continues! Today I want to celebrate the fact that Scout has four amazing siblings. While We were with Scout in California, and they were here in Oregon, they never complained. It was hard on all of us, but they knew their sister was sick. Siblings are very special and amazing. Scout's three older brother and sisters spent maybe an hour all together with Scout, but you wouldn't know it. They love her and celebrate her every day! She is still alive here in our home. They're proud of Scout. And now we have Vienna, and Scout is a big sister. Vienna will learn all about her big sister. Being a parent to these four siblings is a big blessing. They've pulled us out of some rough times, and help us get through everyday. Today starts, Congenital Heart Defect Week! Scout had a CHD known as, Double Outlet Right Ventricle. She fought for ten straight weeks, and never once gave up. She showed us that miracles happen everyday, and has opened up a beautiful, yet sad at times, world.
