I've had an ongoing project making cheap cardboard shelves for my office. Today I finally got around to making them nice-looking thanks to contact paper. In retrospect, I should have chosen something less clearly patterned, but if I wanted a perfect aesthetic, I'd have just bought some damn shelves instead of carving up cardboard boxes.

Being cardboard held together with duct tape, they're not going to hold much weight anyways, so the 15lb command strips might be overkill, but I like how secure they feel.

Bit by bit, this place is coming together.

Cut mattresses like this but get a high filtering gas mask or paint mask. Fumes are probably straight cancer!!! I also used a roast meat electric knife if you’re trying to avoid cancer!

Drain are serious and far more complicated than fresh water. I can see why plumbers usually are happy with being plumbers. With the right tools and a little practice. If you can complete the puzzle in your head, cut abs quickly and one handed crimp or secure the joints pin point. You’re getting instant gratification and a decent amount of money.

My higher skill set is electrical but plumb, which I feel is a portion of being an auto mechanic, it’s prob my second highest normal handy diy.

My number one is prob making things functional and look decent for a temporary amount of time but with the highest amount of yield from it.

Glass Door install on Sock Tank yurters remodel :

Third round tile and grout work in the stock tank is maybe acceptable to a person who has never done tile. Reminds me of dinosaur bones in a museum in New Mexico? Idk

Still needs to dry, polish and seal.

Glass door custom job install arrives today. Decent deal for only $140. Rare find for price of glass being high rn
