Textbook time!

This evening, I remembered out of nowhere that I still needed to order textbooks. (I'm glad I remembered now and not a month from now, when textbook prices tend to go up and there's less time in between when the books ship and when classes start!)

If you're like me and you still need to order books and textbooks, I highly recommend using cheapesttextbooks.com to help find the best prices. It's like a textbook search engine; simply plug in the ISBN of the book you want and it will generate where you can buy it, organized by lowest price.

I've been using this site for years, and they don't pay me to tell you about them (though I wish they did). I'm merely sticking this here because it's saved me a ton of money over the years, and I want you all to be able to enjoy savings as well!

It's textbook buying season again! (And for a lot of us, this means financial headache.)

Some of you probably buying books down to an art or a science (whichever you prefer), but for those of you who don't, here's my approach to textbook buying:

Plug in the ISBN number of whatever book you're trying to buy, and Cheapest Textbooks will generate a list of prices of that book from all around the internet starting with the least expensive.

This process can be a little time-consuming, but the money you'll save is worth it. I know that it's already helped me save hundreds of dollars on books, and I'm not even halfway through college yet.

(Other hint: I keep track of my purchases with a spreadsheet. I'm an English major. Books happen. It's my really useful way of making sure all of my books show up.)
