Three Super Fun Cheap Nights In

We stumbled upon this blog idea when we both wanted to catch up for an evening with our other halves in tow, but we needed to keep the night to a strict budget. So we came up with #2 Games Roulette Night.
It prompted us to brainstorm a couple of other on the cheap nights.
1. Stitch ‘n’ Bitch Night
We are girls who usually have some kind of sewing, painting, colouring, or sticking thing on the go. So we thought, how about making a night of it and teaming up with friends to work on their own projects?
There’s something about keeping your hands busy while jabbering on with friends that is so therapeutic.
Snacks Tip: Don’t have food that takes ages to prep. You need snacks that are quick to prepare and easy to eat. If you can’t open and eat it immediately – don’t bring it.
Refreshment Tip: Make it a BYOB night.
2. Games Roulette Night
The deal is you bring one of your favourite games (or you know, one you own) to play. Give yourselves one hour on the clock to see how far you can get before trying another one.
Etiquette Tip: The night is not about winning (says the people who usually lose…), but it’s really not. The night about is about hanging out with friends. And games.
Make the Effort Tip: Why not pick teams and dress up. Like Australia Vs Scotland. Or for a low key idea, Hats Vs Glasses.
3. Ready Steady Cook Night
For those of you who don’t know the format of this show…
Assign yourself a £5 shopping budget for 2 people. (So £2.50 per person involved. We know! It’s not much but think creatively.)
The deal is you shop for your ingredients, and then using them plus anything in your cupboards you have to make a meal.
Bonus Tip: Push the boat out and do a £2.50 per person shopping budget for pudding too?!
Smart Tip: pre-programme Domino’s in to your phone…you know, JUST incase.
