If Jason had to pick between the tanner boys for his sister he’d pick Cash, unlike Chase he didn’t make his little sister cry. Ideally though, she wouldn't be with ether of them. He didn’t even know which on of those boys she was bring over for christmas. “For christmas should I just get my sister a better boyfriend?” he asked still unsure what to get her for christmas.

"Yeah, but.. You know. My family still lives here, so it's not like I won't ever be back to visit." Colt would still be here, too, which made this town a place to visit even if his parents decided to move away (he didn't see that happening ever, though, so no worries there). And it wasn't like Jake wanted to leave his best friend behind, especially since at some point his feelings had deepened into something else. But he'd always had one foot out the door while Colt's roots ran deep, and they'd both known how this relationship was going to end. "I'm leaving at the end of the month," he admitted, unable to meet Colt's eyes as he did.

    it seemed like a good idea at first   -   he hadn’t been bothered with having yet another person able to google his family and if he’d been honest about his job his real name would have been too easy to find so jaiden had simply made it  all  up.  which in retrospect might have been a mistake.   “  you know i think you’re great,  right?  ”  words hummed softly,  all laced with the cautious undertone of someone dragging each syllable that little bit longer than usual as jai tried to consider his next point.   “   i just think  -  maybe if what you want is legal advice you’re better asking around a little to someone who’s....  not me.  ”

“This is not what it looks like....” Alu speaks as the light comes on and the other is staring down at her. On her back with her face covered by a curtain, her one leg slightly tangled in the blinds of the window she had tried to climb in to. As soon as she landed she lied there, defeated and feeling like a right idiot. 

Alu peeked out from under the curtain, up at the other. “I can explain.....I lost my key.....the window was unlocked and, well...” Her hands then motion over her predicament. Her face was bright red and she was quick to cover her face again. 

“Just leave me ‘ere to die of embarrassment..”

Rowan knocked on the door to Chase’s place. As she did so, she fought down the feeling of panic. After being more than a week late, she’d finally taken a home pregnancy test. Despite keeping her fingers crossed for a negative, the test had come back positive. She’d been careful about taking her birth control, but she must have messed up somehow. Now she had to tell Chase she was going to have his child. As the door to Chase’s place swung open, Rowan forced herself to smile. But it made her face hurt. “Hi” she said. “Sorry for showing up out of the blue.” She probably should have called him first. “I...can we talk? Its kind of important.”

“Are you kidding me?” Alu felt her car come to a slow stop in the middle of the street and panic set in. Her foot repeatedly hit the gas pedal yet nothing happened. She slammed her hands against the steering wheel before putting her car in park. There were a few others behind her, beeping incessantly as they drove past. If she weren’t so nice, she would’ve been making a few rude hand gestures. 

Sighing, she realized her phone was dead and let out a mumble of curses. Getting out, Alu tightened her coat around her. She absolutely hated the cold. What made it worse was that she slipped and fell while closing her door. “Ah bloody ‘ell!!” Falling straight onto her back end, she heard a laugh. Eyes went wide and she looked around. Seeing the other trying to keep their composure, Alu pouted. 

“I’m fine thanks for asking!!!” Carefully, she got up and leaned against her now dead car. “Don’t ‘appen to ‘ave a phone on you d’you?” Asking even though they both knew better. Everyone had a phone on them, at all times.
