Ok so I'm around. Life got hands and she's beating my ass but I am here. Gonna try and work on replies today.

It's like whatever I have is playing with me. One minute I feel good enough to do stuff and then the next I feel like my whole body is going to fall apart. The universe is toying with me and having such a good time....

I do believe I've caught the flu. My son had it last week and I was so happy that no one else in the house got sick. I spoke too soon.

Please be patient with me and hopefully by the weekend I'll feel better.

Vergil took a swig of his beer and sat down. "Next time I have to kill some revenge-seeking vampires, I'll let you know, yeah?" Vergil joked.

He looked around the house, which was usually brimming with the activity of whatever Raven had going on. "Hell, you don't know him but I had recently taken in a young kid that's a werewolf, he moved in with Raven, god is this what being a father means, eventually one day the kids move out?" Vergil asked.

At the mention of getting a pet. "Yeah, not too big on the whole pet idea, even when Raven was here; sure, she has one by now, and then Cameron went back to England, so I guess it's a good thing I still have you, though you are a pain in the ass at times."

Taking a sip from the bottle, she sighed. Distant memories of her son flickered through her mind. She wished she could've raised him to the point Vergil had with Raven. To wave him off towards his new life and hope he would do great things. It was bittersweet, the memories she had vs the life she had now. Another long swig and Alu sat down next to Vergil, head on his shoulder.

"You did good. You should be beaming with pride." Nudging him with a small smile. The pain in the ass comment making her snort a bit of a laugh. "Gee thanks. Love you too..." Eyes rolling again. "Would it kill you to be nice to me?"
