Sugar obsessed with antis

This is a screenshot I found on a sugar blog, which I found because she called @regalenglishrose racist on regal’s blog. 

You know what I find fascinating? How sugars will obsessively read opinions of people they do not agree with, taking screenshots and discussing it, and even dedicating their blogs to talking about “tinhats”. (There’s more than one of that kind.) It’s almost as if they are completely unaware that people have differing opinions and interpretations of the actions of other humans, and that’s... how the world works.

[Eg: Person A thinks Person B is being friendly, and person C thinks person B was flirting. Similarly, person A thinks person B (in another scenario) is being rude, but person C thinks person B was being matter-of-fact.]

And curious that sugars should accuse antiMM’s of not being self aware, but they themselves are completely “un self-aware” themselves, ignoring their own biases and twisting themselves into pretzels to justify things that MM does. Eg. This was a comment about MM's chain link VB dress for the Commonwelath servics. I don’t think of it as a chain, I think of it as “links” and it’s a pretty powerful imagery of links between Commonwealth countries - I’m paraphrasing, but this was the ridiculous comment I read as an argument. Not on their own thread mind you. On one of the threads of a Kate fan. Yes, they like to come to other blogs and make a case for their fav. Pretty desperate IMO. 

Sugars really do love to come to other people’s blogs and try to prove them wrong, and obsess of what “tinhats” say. That is the effect our opinions have on them. I will never really not find this kind of fascinating. If someone whote a college paper about it I’d read the whole thing.

How do you handle jealousy?

From which angle? I, personally, have been on both ends, but what's most pertinent to mention here, I think, is the fact that jealousy is kind of just a peek into the fact that the jealous person is actually just a little insecure. Like I said, I speak from experience. But, honestly, jealousy, when i think about it now, is just another one of those unnecessary things that just causes unnecessary issues and/or problems......individually, in a relationship, etc etc.Love is risky, yes. But when you and another person make an agreement to be together, monogamously, --whether spoken aloud or not-- there should be an explicit understanding that each person will be loyal and honest and committed to the other and the relationship. Jealous for a reason? Jealous because of the past?Jealous because that's what you learned by watching others? I dunno. .....to answer yr question specifically though: I handle it by Checking My Self First before even thinking about speaking my thoughts and feelings to anyone else. And, honestly, more often than not, I usually find I'm just tripping. Or, If it's coming from without, I can calmly and coolly explain to my partner there ain't shit she has too be jealous about cuz it's me and her.Anyway anon, I hope this helps a bit shuga xox Remember, check yrself and your intentions first before anything else.
