Advance Entertainment Law

Many people with a dream on the shelf will often say that they're waiting for the perfect time or a certain tool, or even the right amount of capital to get their master plan set for takeoff. In all honesty, there is no such thing as the perfect time for anything. To enter such a competitive business within the live concert-festival entertainment industry, one must understand all the risks that may hold serious legal liabilities. As I reflect on this mastery journey of mine, there were a few milestones that were set to be achievable for this month's course of Advanced Entertainment Law. My personal goals for the course was to properly create a legal contract, to understand the legal impact of entertainment law, and to learn strategies for protecting rights within the digital entertainment industry realm.

Throughout this month’s course, I have evaluated helpful key concepts for best practice within the entertainment field, such as reviewing contracts to find what's not noted when dealing in negotiations. Before any individual sets to create a legal contract, one must understand the legal lingo of protecting specific intellectual properties on documents for all parties involved. To be able to understand the legal impact of an entertainment business, a person main objective is to be able to analyze a bad contract agreement at times, to understand a contracts’ term as a whole. For instance, I was pleasantly surprised by how aware I've become of being able to identify legal liabilities from a specifically proposed obstacle course competition in particular. This is a skill that demonstrates a solid understanding of identifying different liabilities, no matter what the industry field is.

Learning the strategies for protecting rights within the digital entertainment industry realm has everything to do with the cyber law. It is important to make sure that someone else isn’t using a name and/or a mark of the desired business. In fact, while being wise to take the necessary steps to protect your mark by applying for a federal trademark, and/or registering a domain name containing trademark elements, actually may attract the individuals who may tend to have expressed intentions to cause harm to one's brand for financial gain. It is extremely helpful to look back at particular legal cases for references if a certain issue was to arise. Although many new business owners would be inclined to obtaining legal consultant, I personally find it refreshingly satisfying to understand the ins and outs of contracts lingo as well as legal liability laws to have a more meaningful contribution when structuring my master plans.
