#HowAboutNow, one of my older tenants, matter of fact, a Veteran, came in the other day carrying suitcases, right. When he sees me seeing him, he tries to tell me he slid his rent under my office door and asked did I see it. My first thought was, that's some #BS, right. Even still ...pause ...I checked, just to be sure, looked around, asked my husband and ran it to the Owner. Fully aware, I typed something up, you know, put it in written, #JustInCase, keeping us #1Hunnid, right. Then I watched him running in and out the building and waited #OnMyMoment. Finally, I had to let him know, first things first, patna, we don't accept payments like that, we were never told ahead of time, if you didn't think enough of yourself to get a receipt, we are not liable for your choice not to get one. Turns out, he was preparing to take a trip and while that wasn't any of my business, he told on himself. Either way, he came to me later in the day and #PaidInFull, right, and we will see him when he returns, right on time, and without taking legal action against him, for trying to skip out on us. My husband, knowing how he tried to play us all out, saw me collecting from him and told me after I handled it, I intimidated him. #SeriouslyFunny, especially since the man is tall as my Father and Brothers and I'm only 5'1, so I had to look up when I addressed him.
