Saika has the ability of Precognition, which is how she knew when her son was endanger. She was trained in her ability by The ancestress of the Hanadagi family Angela. From her training with her she learned to channel her gift in many ways, and though she rarely has actually visions she usually gets a sense when those close to her are endanger and will use other forms of her gift to try and figure out how bad it is.
Background Information:
Saika is a High Noble vampire; her Father having been a Pureblood of the Hanadagi family, and her Mother a Noble of the Aido family who'd managed to catch his eye. Though a lot were not happy with her parents union because of the blow it would have on the Pureblood population, there really wasn't anything that they could do about it though because of his position as a Pureblood.
