Mildly stinky 1 year old sheep’s milk cheese from the Basque region of the French Pyrenees - Agour Ossau-Iraty. Oddly creamy and buttery in the mouth with a subtle undertone of herbs and vague nuttiness to it....No surprise that Agour pairs perfectly with their locally-made dark cherry jam....if cheese and cherry jam on its own is too much, you can also eat with fresh bread or mini toasts!
