STORY TIME

Finals Game 2 ng UAAP Basketball. UST against Ateneo ang laban. Syempre support kami ng mga college frennies ko bilang mga glorified fangirls/fanboys. Tsaka parte talaga ‘to ng bonding namin since college. Usually, kasama ko si jowa manood kapag may games. Automatic na ‘yon, may plus 1 ako as much as possible.

Kaya lang WEDNESDAY ‘to (oo na, ako na ‘yung umaabsent sa trabaho para manood ng UAAP! 🤪). So may pasok si jowa sa school. Ako naman garapal lang talaga kaya umabsent ako tsaka no work, no pay ako so quits quits lang HAHAHAHA. Petsa de peligro na nito so tight na ang budget ko. tipong saktuhang pamasahe + pangkain lang.

Pero dahil da best ang jowa ko, pinadaan niya ako sa tindahan ni Tita Mae. May kukunin daw ako doong almusal, baon para sa byahe.

Nag-ready na ang lola niyo. Syempre dumaan muna ko ke Tita Mae. May pa-ispageti si mayor (not in photo). Akala ko ‘yun na ‘yon. Tapos may inabot pang oil film si Tita Mae. Pinabibigay rin daw ni jowa. Akala ko naman ayaw lang ako maging oily.

Pagbuklat ko sa oil film, charan! May pa-note si koya tapos merong PHP 200 na kasama (not in photo). Kasama din ‘yung ATM ko (siya nagtatago kasi gastadora ang lola niyo minsan). Nagpabaon kahit siya rin mismo kailangan ng baon sa school. Extra na pera niya raw ‘to. Ipon niya. Mangiyak ngiyak ako sa bus. Masaya akong lumuwas ng Maynila kahit mag-isa lang ako.

Maswerte talaga ‘ko. Sobra. Kasi hindi ako humihingi pero binibigay mo. Binibigay Niya.

Kahit minsan ang sungit sungit ko. Kahit na minsan natatarayan o nasusungitan kita. Kh minsan parang ako pa ‘yung mas bata kung umasta. Sorry sa kasungitan ko minsan/madalas/lagi. Busy ka rin pero lagi kang humahanap ng oras para sa’kin. Kung hindi man, ng paraan para mapunan ‘yung absence mo.

the duality of man is so funny cause you see a guy litteraly getting taken apart for scraps and the comment section is a half and half of "i need that man carnally" and "Oh! thats gore. thats gore of my comfort character."

I wish they made a babybel cheese that was like lembas bread. one bite will be enough to keep a traveler on his feet for a long day of labor, etc etc

cheesy nerdy things here: sending thanks to every mangaka and illustrator and animator and staff member who create these series. people choose to share their creativity and stories with us; that's pretty fantastic. we laugh until we pee our pants; dislike, drool over, love, hate and/or are inspired by particular characters; are uncomfortable or disagree with certain themes; consider social commentary; add to our worldviews; weep; cheer; kick it around on tumblr and write fanfics and create fanart and find new, sweet relationships because of these series

did you want my 2024 anime/manga wrapped? yes oh ok here it is but it's really just a list. some read, some watched, some both. the genre doesn't consume my life, but it definitely adds goodness to it:
