Cardinal Copia?

I did a vague Copia one a while back but I do think that he is a different cheese for each phase of his character!

Cardinal Copia:

Camembert is very similar to brie, but is more robust, pungent, earthy, with a thicker rind, a little bit stinky. Cardinal Copia when first introduced was a bit more sassy, still fighting to establish himself with the audience. It made sense to give him a bit stronger a flavor

Papa Emeritus IV:

Brie is a classic and simple party go-to. Its mild and creamy flavor appeals the the majority of cheese lovers, with a little bit of a fungle aftertaste as it ages to make it feel sophisticated. While Cardinal Copia had to fight for popularity, Papa Emeritus IV gets to reap the rewards of all that effort and just enjoy the love of the millions of adoring fans.

Frater Imperator:

Noblette is a small, brie style blooming rind cheese like the two above, but a little lesser known, hidden away. It's buttery, earthy and fungal, with a bit of a tart or sour finish. I think it best reflects Frater Imperator's bitterness at being hidden and taken away from the show-biz

Oh great cheese knower, can you give a cheese for Phantom ghoul & Omega ghoul?

A Nameless Ghoul called Phantom:

A young Bonne Bouche is a mild soft goat cheese aged in vegetable ash under a brainy rind caused by the geotrichum candidum bacteria. It is tangy, citrusy, and floral with a creamy texture. The longer it ages, the more of these flavors shift from sweet to savory, which is why I specified a young Bonne Bouche. Phantom ghoul is zesty, playful, and fun to watch on stage, much like the sweeter, more floral Bonne Bouche.

A Nameless Ghoul called Omega:

Wendsleydale is a dense, crumbly, sweet cheese with a honey aftertaste, making it a popular dessert cheese that often has other ingredients added to enhance the sweetness. A candy orange and chocolate ingredient pairing in the cheese leans into this sweetness and richness inherent to the cheese, making the flavor delicious but heavy, rich. I think tge density and richness matches the ghoul and his long legacy in the band, as well as his more stompy behavior later on. (Plus we know sweet things appeal to Terzo)

Hornet:

Ficaccio is a luxurious cheese for a royal bug. Made from a mixture of cow and buffalo milk, this soft cheese is wrapped in fig leaves and aged for 30 to 40 days in humid caves before serving. The cheese is smooth, soft, with a tart, sweet flavor. The fig leaves also imbue a herbal, fresh flavor into the finishing flavor and aroma. I think the aging in caves process matched the setting of Hallownest and Pharloom, and the flavors of the cheese balanced Hornet's status as a princess and her life as a wanderer and protector of the common bug.

Monsignor Virgil:

For Virgil, I thought the best fit would be Livanjski sir, a full fat, hard sheep and goat cheese from the Livno region, aged sixty to eighty days. It's a slightly sweet, nutty cheese with a strong flavor, that develops a slightly spicy finish the older it gets, which many find preferable. The texture is similar to a firm but elastic. I imagine that this strong flavor and long aged cheese well matches Virgil's strong personality, strength of character, and life of seclusion in the cult compound.

is there a cheese for my favorite obscure guy, Bishop Necropolitus Cracoviensis II?

Okay, I preface this by: I both think this is funny and true.

Bishop Necropolitus Cracoviensis II:

Anyway Stinking Bishop is a famously pungent but surprisingly mild cheese. This aged creamy cheese is dunked in pear cider every few weeks as it's matured which adds a fruity element to the otherwise creamy, nutty, earthy goodness. I thought both the luxurious cheese and hint of fruitiness give this cheese a proper homage to the particularly skillfully artistic bishop. Also his odd peculiarities in home decor and how he speaks in his interviews made me feel he deserved a stinky cheese.

mr farmer of lotsofcheese fame. what is a character that you believe is strongly connected to the Concept of cheese as a whole? someone that you look at and go “yeah you fucking freak. i bet you would love a cheese” not necessarily a specific cheese itself. thank you for your time and wisdom in advance

There are few characters more deserving of being compared to cheese than any hobbit ever. Cheese started as a survival food that gradually bloomed and flourished into beautiful expressions of culture, of a homey comfort that persists through fancy charcuterie boards and the simplest recipes of cheese on a loaf of bread.

Forgive me for being sappy, but there's no character I would more harken the concept of cheese to than the beloved Samwise Gamgee.

Humble, but great and deserving of admiration and praise. Proud of what they are without having an over inflated ego, and always in service to something greater than themselves. A consistent, constant reassurance throught time. Fitting as both a survival food, meant for difficult temperatures and long journeys, and as a luxury at home, to enjoy and grow a healthy layer of fat upon. Beloved by all.

Once again I apologize for being sappy! But I had to be honest with my thoughts on the matter. I also do think Sam could wolf down a large wheel quite easily and would with relish (as he deserves).

Ifrit:

Mish is a fermented cheese made in Egypt! It is made from other cheeses, usually karish, a fresh, softer, more crumbly cheese, and put in a pot with milk, the cake solids left afterexrracting oil from sesame seeds, morta, and usually some form of hot pepper and other spices. This mixture is then covered in palm leaves andsealed shut, left in a dark, dry place to ferment into a salty, spicy cheese paste! Ifrit was one of the earliest ghouls in ghost to display a strong, playful personality, and I thought he deserved then a strongly flavored, firey cheese to match!
