Summary:
Bucky Barnes was expecting a quiet Christmas. With a cancelled flight home and time off from his demanding job, his most exciting immediate plans involved an eggnog binge with his best friend Darcy.
But when Captain America stumbles into the Stark kitchens, bruised, battered and seemingly in need of company, what can Bucky do but help turn his Christmas around. And maybe find a little Christmas miracle for himself while he’s at it…
warnings: i use the word orgasmic but no orgasms are written of lmao, implied smut
a/n : like/reblog if you like. i hope this inspires someone else to write a chef bucky bc i think it's a hawt concept.
Ok... Bucky, but a professional chef
You go to one of the best reviewed restaurants with your tinder date. He’s a cocky investment banker or something, so he gets a table closest to the glass wall separating the kitchen and dining room
You watch in awe as the chef multitasks between cooking, tasting and plating. He’s busy, in every single detail and very clearly in control of the kitchen. Hair pulled back as he chops and cook. Wearing a short sleeved chef jacket that strains under his muscles
He spots you watching and gives you a small smile, eye lingering on your curls cascading over your bare brown shoulders. the satin of your black dress hugging your body like a second skin.
Your meal - from the appetizers to the main course - is the best thing you’ve ever eaten. Dynamic, orgasmic flavors. Your date scarfes it down, not even trying to savor it. but you take your time. trying the elements on their own then all together.
and then there’s a deep, rich voice, “How is everything?” there he stands. tall, broad and handsome.
your date says something unimpressive but you- you dive in. Telling him how his flavors go together so well, like they were made for each other. Like the way the sweet battles the savory to become something totally exotic yet completely familiar. The way the spice melds with the cream so it’s fire without the burn
Bucky blushes from your praises, totally forgetting your date as he offers you a tour of the kitchen. You barely spare your date a second glance as you let him lead you to the kitchen and if he protests you don't hear him.
He tells you all about his inspiration for the menu, the pairings. The time flies and then the kitchen is clean and quiet and the dining room is empty and your perched on the edge of the stainless steel prep table trying a variety of desserts.
“Try this one next,” bucky instructs, airplaning a bite sized tart to your open mouth. You let out a sigh that sounds more like a moan, eyes fluttering. when you open them he’s inches from your face, hand rising to wipe the whipped cream from your top lip
you pull his thumb into your mouth, tracing it with your tongue. he groans, pulling you flush to him, whispering dirty delicious things in your ear. it’s not long before you gently fall back onto the cold prep table and pull him down with you for the fourth and final course.
Steve Rogers is a bigshot celebrity chef in New York City, and Bucky Barnes is a classically trained pastry chef in Moscow. When billionaire and mutual friend Natasha Romanoff calls on them to collaborate for her Memorial Day Benefit Gala, they both brace themselves to spend the week working with some jerk they're bound to hate.
Except... Steve makes a burger that could bring Bucky to tears. Bucky makes tartlets so beautiful Steve's sure they qualify as art.
Maybe, just maybe, together they could make this a night to remember.
