I know this won't be everyone's vibe, but I love watching documentaries. Especially ones where I'm sitting there muttering to myself, "There is not enough money in the world that would get me to do this." But also laughing excitedly and declaring, "It's so fucking cool watching ordinary people do extraordinary things! Give me more!"

If that's your vibe too, this one is worth watching.

I also got through about half of Mickey 17 before I had to switch over to something else. It just wasn't hitting with me tonight. Haven't decided whether I'll watch the back half or not.

My newest comfort show (joining TXF, Lost, and Firefly) is Iron Chef America. Cooking as sport. It's silly and over the top but I love watching really good chefs making what generally looks like really great food. To every craft, its proper mystery. Also, Iron Chef Michael Symon. Whom, even now with our advancing ages, I would climb like a tree.
