We’re in the same boat. They don’t even attach to his armor, they go into his skin it looks like?
it looks like they just kind of end, to be honest, with the weird silver caps. The dark part underneath the plate on his stomach does wrap around to the back, but the tubes just stop? or they’re going from nothing into his stomach in the front. either way one end is useless.
(i’m assuming though that since overall, this armor looks p similar to the chest armor reyes also has it is just weird armor and not a prosthetic armor piece. with random tubes. maybe cooling tubes??? its too hot to wear this poncho without a cooling vest but my IMAGE, GUYS)

I've used this stuff in really small quantities for theater props, but what kind of mileage do you get out of a single tube? Does it take a single tube to do something like the robo arm you pictured or did a project that size take multiples?
It’ll depend on the porosity of the surface you’re trying to cover, but this stuff tends to stretch pretty far. I think I actually lost the tube of silver leaf I used for my robo-arm before I ran out of it, and I only used maybe a third of a tube for the arm? For the two Yamask faces, I used maybe a quarter of a tube between both. The baby face soaked up a little bit more pigment because I was applying it directly to untreated rubber (you know the texture of rubber doll faces - it was exactly that material), so it didn’t spread quite as far when I started buffing the color around. I also had to use a little extra on the end of a stiff paintbrush to work it into the little crevices around the mouth and nose areas.
Honestly, I think I could have conserved even more pigment on those projects if I had been more careful about where I squeezed the tube and how I recapped it. You know how super glue tubes can sometimes ooze a little extra glue when you first open them if you squeezed them hard the time prior? These tubes are pretty similar. But yeah, short version is that a little bit goes a very long way!
