Just had the coolest experience that I found on the Airbnb site, King Cake class with Chef Gregory held upstairs from his bakery. Kicked off with some red wine and mini muffulettas, then he made a traditional French King Cake which baked during the demo class. We discussed the history of king cakes the various types from France and early creole New Orleans sampled along with some good sherry, champagne and ended with some delicious chicory cafe au late. Best 1.5 hours spent talking food and enjoying tasty treats and history!!
