Ok but Collateral Beauty is actually THE most underrated movie EVERRR UGH im so ANGRY people don't SEE what an obviously GORGEOUS, MIND BREAKING, MEANINGFUL, POETIC, LAYERED MOVIE THIS WAS. I see all these people saying "the trailer lies. It doesn't match up with the actual movie at all" *screams into pillow* NO YOU PIECE OF CONFETTI ugghhhhhhh sigh do you really think a real movie would ever even TRY to get away with something like that? When i watched it the first time, i was a little disappointed at first too, cuz it seemed like they did lie, but even if they had, it was STILL a really great movie. But the thing is, the trailer didn't lie or trick you AT ALL did you not watch the ending use ur heads ppl sigh ok back to being nice... ITS ACTUALLY SO MUCH BETTER THIS WAY hpfhh the thing with this movie is it's original in that it does something I've never seen any other movie do before. You only REALLY watch the movie the SECOND time you see it. It's almost like 2 different movies. There's a plot twist at the end on a bridge. The bridge plot twist. Idk did ppl just not NOTICE THAT? or connect the dots? Just... Go watch it yourself. Twice. Seriously. It is one of the BEST movies i have EVERRR seen. it's important and dynamic and poetic and beautiful and MEANINGful pleASE understand this movie is SO important. Also when else on the big screen do we get the personification of LOVE ITSELF telling someone to stop sexualizing everything i mean honestly i just... A+++++++++++++
