For the ship thing: AOS Chekov x Jaylah?

when I started shipping it if I did: I don’t ship this as an OTP but a BROTP, for sure, and I think it started when I saw all those lip sync videos/behind the scenes footage of Anton and Sofia.
my thoughts: Jaylah painting warrior markings on Chekov before a mission for good luck.
What makes me happy about them: Chekov is totally the one who starts fights and relies on Jaylah to save him once things get too rough.
What makes me sad about them: the fact that Anton is no longer with us.
things done in fanfic that annoys me: I don’t think I’ve read too many fanfics of these two, but mischaracterization is always a pain.
things I look for in fanfic: Jaylah or Chekov being a character lol. There’s a lack of these two in fanfics at all.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Jaylah: Uhura. Chekov: Khan (crackship. sue me.) or Bones.
My happily ever after for them: Jaylah finds new family in the form of the Enterprise crew and her and Chekov get into plenty of mischief.
who is the big spoon/little spoon: They 100% watch movies and cuddle together and Jaylah is 100% the big spoon.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Sparring or working with Scotty on engineering stuff!
