Chell's
chelldos
There's this portal fanfic I love, called corruptive shell, rotten core
Go give it a read!
By @nellasbookplanet if I'm not wrong
tried drawing how I imagined (sorry if I butchered them) chell and glados looking by the end of the fic (also referenced Thier glados drawing I found about after starting this)
It's a simple drawing, but I'm proud of it so that's okay
i think some day i will scream about my love to portal, and portal 2 (i didnt played through, first chapter but i definitely know that second is great)
i love cheldos. i love that actually va glados was doing a song about a chell.. don't say goodbye i think name of song. i love that. so beauty and cutie. just like. 'i will do anything for you but not leave my test rooms' um but actually it is i think literally the text, meaning of song hahaha
I love and know that Glados sang at one of her comic-cons/meeting with va idk how is it in english. she was singing her most popular song, and then couple of gay men go and doing some like wedding stuff. it is on youtube from 2015. i love it. im fucking love that fact.
glados was always like shitting chell but in the end of game they was like a teammates to try and grab wheatley from place of glados.. glados let go chell and even do a song from her those things that kill with lasers... I forgot their name. It turns out their purpose was to act as a nanny, and if an unregistered person came, they would protect the baby and sing songs in their free time. cradle but in 2077. as a result, It turns out that Glados entered Chell as her dear person or child into the program in order to perform this gesture before Chell leaves. i love that. i love soundtracks from portal. i love that aesthetic of portal.. It's a pity I found portal 2 when its dead and the maximum time it was at its peak was probably in 2017 and even then I wasn't very interested because I thought the portal was just a game to think about, solve puzzles.. and nothing else.
Something I just realised
In portal 2 glados said she gets a shock from helping the test subject
And I portal 1 glados has many moments where she gets cut off by static
So glados was trying to help chell through the chamber
Like the momentum rooms she gets cut off often
#Repostober day 4!
Good ol ChelDOS <3
something something cake as a metaphor in the portal series where it's a token of glados's affection for the test subject only for said affection and the cake itself to be a lie, only for the glados song in lego dimensions to reflect on her relationship with chell and for the final verse to talk about having cake, and glados specifically says "yes it's real, a cake I made", which is almost certainly just a playful reference but through a shipping lens it could be said to be a statement of genuine affection for chell over the course of two portal games and the lego dimensions campaign. glados promises cake along with her faux-affable demeanor only for both of these things to be false, whereas by the time the credits roll on lego dimensions perhaps glados is expressing a genuine affection through her assertion that this cake that she's talking about this time is real, and it's a cake that she made. something something
POV : The lesbians are judging you
also fun fact you can't pose chell's face, her eyes' movement is incredibly limited and her body takes more work than normally to pose so making this look decent took longer than i want to admit
bonus: chelldos put into perspective
