TERFs/"Gender Critical" bloggers Go Fuck Yourself Challenge 🖕
#ages ago I downloaded a jim carrey gif from a search engine for a reblog chain where people were recreating the destiel confession scene#quivering lip jim carrey was castiel confessing and stone-faced dean was ray william johnson saying 'fake and/or gay'#again - I didn't make the gif. I found it online and used it in a post. but because I uploaded it tumblr alerts me whenever people use it#like on tumblr. so occasionally I'll get the odd note here or there saying that someone used the gif#I just got an alert for a post made by a radfem who's upset that her friend confided in her that they might be trans#she has posts misgendering trans men and I wouldn't put it past her to misgender trans women BC she has a post in her top posts#where she's like 'funny how I'd consider dating an ftm but I wouldn't touch an mtf with a ten foot pole' or something. just shitty and rude#and I will say that there were posts about some shitty things that have happened to her. and like fwiw I'm genuinely sorry for that#but when she has a bunch of posts about trans people that's indistinguishable from like. for lack of a better comparison#ashley williams from mass effect 1 saying 'I can't tell the aliens from the animals'#I find that really rude and disturbing. and I don't appreciate the tenuous and shitty connection that shit ass gif has made between us#I hope in my heart of hearts this person's love for her friend might allow her to heal some degree of her transphobia#and if that doesn't happen and this becomes a Sticking Point I hope her trans friend gets out of there before getting hurt.#if anyone clicked through from that radfem blog (which is unlikely) I don't support transphobia & I don't associate with that shit-ass blog#eat shit - as in consume feces. ingest animal waste for sustenance.
