"I thought that if I got here and saw the sheet of tattoos to choose from, it'd be an easy decision, you know?" Nari said out loud, partially to no one, definitely to the person who seemed to be trying to make the same decision next to her. "But instead I find myself stuck on something a little spooky, or something a little cute, but," she rolled up her sleeve to show off a small flower tattoo on her wrist, "most of my tattoos loo like this, so I should probably stick with cute... right?" And she wished she sounded a little more sure of herself when she said it, but that wasn't going to happen. "What about you, any idea about which one you might go with?"

"Are you going to the big gala coming up?" Elena asked as she slid into the seat across from Chelsea, setting down her cafeteria tray and tucking her legs under the chair. This was routine, but the best kind of routine. She would come up to North Shore to spend some time with her abuela, visit with a few of the other older ladies that she had gotten close to, and then before she headed home, see if she could bug her friend into a little snack, catch up, and unwind time. It was a life saver before she made that drive back home to her little house in the suburbs with her cat and her fish to hear her thoughts. They weren't good at conversation. "I didn't know if that was the kind of thing Ivy helped you pick outfits for."
