“The Way We Dress: “Notes on the Gaze” by Chelsea McMullan - NOWNESS presents”
Why this video?
The sheer aspect of the title intrigued me to find out what was going to be discussed, yet maybe portrayed within a less than 3 minute period. Within the first few seconds and how, Chelsea McMullan, opens with clip from clip of many variations of a “gaze” but, with filter that looks likeit was filmed over 20 years ago. The vintage style did draw me into this short film too, how the camera is acting as another set of eyes, as we patrol our view around a selection of people. Being nosey. Thats what I like best in films.
