1987 info sheet about "Silly Putty," AKA Dow Corning 3179 Dilatant Compound. You (could) buy it in bulk, in a 50 pound (22 kg) carton. Also, it can be removed from carpets or whatever by dousing it with 95% isopropyl alcohol and dissolving it or brushing it out.
