My arms have been poked and prodded for the past 20 months. They are now saying they’ve had enough. This round they made it through the saline flushed, the steroid, the first chemotherapy drug, the antihistamine, and half of the second chemo drug .. then they said loud and clear “I’M DONE!!” and once again my arm started filling with chemotherapy under the skin. They had to stop the drug immediately, suck out as much of the chemo as possible, take pictures of the area and they also get me to fill out paperwork acknowledging the risks and how to observe/care for the area. Then we started a new IV on the other arm and we were back in action. ⠀⠀ #chemonumber23 #20monthsin #buyingtime #embracingeachmoment (at Cross Cancer Institute) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2qXLcYAgfF/?igshid=mj61s3uskord
