A smol comic of sorts that I drew for Grill, the surprisingly wholesome Twittergrump.
I highly recommend. I don't really enjoy roast content, but Grill's stuff manages to remain respectful, funny and wholesome af.
I did not draw the first two panels or the background of the second to last one. The first two are screengrabs from the latest episode and the background is also a screengrab with Quil's arm and tray drawn into it.
A spur of the moment comic I doodled after RP with Azra’s mun. Feliana has a very confusing crush on the pretty human and he is NOT HELPING
The third idea I had altogether (I didn't storyboard the second one but still might), and the one I decided on for the final comic. It's the one I can tell in the most concise fashion and also the one I find most personally relatable.
Basically I was in bed and about to go to sleep, and that's often when I start dreaming up different scenarios and ideas. This time I imagined going to a museum, then felt a bit sad because I like to take millions of photographs in museums. And I know that people stare and judge for that.
So I was thinking what a shame it was that we couldn't perfectly record, save and relive memories and bam! I had a concept for a whole bunch of great ideas! Just this one concept would have so much potential for stories that I'm genuinely noting down a lot of maybes for stories I might want to tell in the future. It would make for a sweet short story anthology...
You see the first page twice there because again, I always ask for a lot of feedback, and this is a revised version. I need to revise it again though, and I might still need to tinker with the dialogue, too.
We got a comic assignment at school - a 3-page short story with the theme "Technological Progress". This is my first story draft - a brief story of two internet friends who are abused at their current homes. They make a deal to help each other get out, but one of them realises upon arrival that this might be harder than expected...
I have a lot of notes about how this draft could be improved, because I basically passed it around in class and asked everyone for feedback. I majorly expanded and changed the dialogue for one, and it still needs a lot of work - it's super hard to establish the amount of information necessary to understand such a scenario and make the twist work well within just three pages.
Buuuuut I actually put this idea on ice for the time being because I had two other ones that seemed to fit even better into the theming and format.
Theo, stop yandereing at Lidon!
I discovered “You’ll Be Back” from the Hamilton musical, and couldn’t help but imagine yandere Theo...
I wanted to show how our current comic classes work. The teacher gives us a situation we are to narrate, and then a panel layout we are supposed to used for it. Last time we got 1-3 panels to work with for every situation - now we were given whole page layouts to use.
It’s a really interesting process and a challenge!
Late birthday present for hoples. I rarely manage to give birthday presents, but I'm glad I managed to do this one. Just something small and doodly though. úvu
Pharos Theo and her character, Teri. Both of them are chem nerds. So you could say they got... good chemistry~. Ehehehehe~.
Happy birthday, my love.
