How many of you would go up to her and ask if you could sit next to her, to make small talk, just to help her feel safer?
Or would you notice the situation and still keep to yourself, using social anxiety as an excuse?
That excuse isn't good enough. Look where we are.
I know social anxiety; she's my twin and she always looms over me and suffocates me.
But when I notice a situation like that, where it would be so easy to help someone? She has no power then.
Let your insistence on justice be stronger than your social anxiety.
Because it's not about you.
