okay, im gonna admit it was the first ever romance drama i watched, and it got me hooked! i thought about it day and night and even at school, it was so great!
it serves as a romance-comedy. i can easily enjoy the leads' romance and relationship, while also having a good laugh! however, as any romance show, there are moments where you'll most likely cry :,) so make you prepare your tissues.

this musical romantic comedy is a hate-to-love story set in Yuncheng, Shanxi province. The protagonist is a quirky young woman, Chen Qing Qing, who runs away from her wealthy grandfather and unwanted marriage. Because she is pursued by her grandfather's employees, she has to use a series of disguises and fake names, which create comedic situations. The male lead is an arrogant, cold, top musical star named Situ Feng (stage name 'Your Highness'), who is ambivalent about fame and has a hostile relationship with his father.

WOW!!!! the characters were so well written. i couldn't really bring myself to hate the supposed villainess!! everyone had a struggle that they had to face, and i really enjoyed it! i would watch out for suicide
