Kayaking with my mom in the sunken forest of the Chepu River (a result of the 1960 Valdivia earthquake, the biggest on record). I only wish that more of this trip could have been spent doing things like this #chile #chiloeisland #chepu #kayaking

The Sunken Forest of Chepu
I can't get enough of the beautiful landscapes of the dead forest at Chepu

Dawn Kayak
spent my birthday (7/10) kayaking at dawn through the drowned forest of Chepu. Words can't explain how beautifully eerie this experience was (and fucking cold too).
Pase mi cumpleaños ( 7/10 ) haciendo kayak al amanecer por el bosque muerto de Chepu . Palabras no pueden explicar lo maravilloso y tenebroso que esta experiencia fue ( y mas helado que la mierda tambien) .
Sunken Forest
Chepu is easily one of the more mystical places of Chiloe island. Between the Pultra and Batalcura Rivers there is a forest of dead treas that came to be as a result of the subsequent tsunami from the 1960 earthquake.
