the nightlife in gotham is kind of fascinating, it's a strange mix of people in suits and weirdos in fetish gear, Gar's not quite sure what the hell's going on around him. maybe he set foot in the wrong kind of club, what he thought to be just a regular gay bar. or maybe that's just how the scene is in gotham, he's not quite sure. either way, he's having a grand ol' time and people seem to enjoy the sight of him despite his rather casual outfit. he's been exchanging glances and drinks with a few strangers, some interesting some less. and then his gaze catches someone else, and he seems very interested all of a sudden. maybe it's the booze, maybe not. either way, he gets closer, until he meets with him and offers a smile. "Hey, how's it going?"

now that he's there, within closer distance, his metahuman senses pick something else, a scent. it's different than the rest of the people in here, different from the other people he's met and knows. it's familiar. mental gymnastics allow him to briefly connect his mind with the Red - the source of his own powers - and he begins to recognise the scent, it's that of another shapeshifter. his smile widens, but he doesn't say much else.

Loki stared down at the boy, magic crackling between his fingers. He reached down and slapped Stiles, jumpstarting the transformation. Stiles' skin began to be replaced with scintillating scales. "You're going to be a big pet boa constrictor for me, boy. Cute but threatening. And you know the best part about the species I picked for you?" Loki leaned down to whisper in Stiles' ear before it disappeared. "They don't have a gag reflex."
