And absolutely yes right on the nose there, they never met Cherie’s family in person expect when she had her little sister with her, but after learning her reason why and remembering just how many times she’d be there by herself so late into the afternoon really stuck with him and how he felt with his own family, she understood him, even if he never told her about his family.

It also doesn’t help that shortly after the canon “ring” incident at the playground Cherie didn’t come back, Redacted learning it was because her mother had gotten engaged to the man so they moved away. She never got to say bye to them😔
