eyebrow piques, and while brashness is hard to miss in his tone and presence altogether, he doesn’t particularly care for what her answer might be. he’s used to being stared at, thrives under attention, but she was regarding him with more wariness than admiration, and he wanted to know why.

            ‘i hope you don’t mind my CURTNESS. my mind’s been a bit foggy.’ mostly because it felt like an insult to be covering such silly events meant only for the SOCIALITES or visiting dignitaries that hailed from countries that most of their show’s listeners couldn’t pronounce the NAMES of. he believed in important news. news that meant something to people, not just something to pass the time with. this was just BORING, if freddie could be honest.

                a  national  tour  was  enough  to  get  julia  excited,  but  an  international  tour  ?  didn’t  that  just  beat  all  !  for  a  mid-western  girl  who  had  never  even  been  out  of  the  state  of  ohio,  being  out  of  the  country  was  a  bit  of  a  culture  shock  to  her.  only  their  third  stop,  amsterdam.  but  julia  was  already  struggling  to  find  her  way  around.  ❝  excuse me  ?   -------------   i  don’t  mean  to  be  a  bother,  but,  do  you  know  this  place  well  ?  i  was  trying  to  find  somewhere  to  eat.  would  you  happen  to  know  a  place  ?  ❞

    he’s tapped her on the shoulder and now the deed is done. oh, dear, why was he trained to be so mannerly, even on a street in new york city? “oh --- oh. um.” he can feel his cheeks burning as he rocks back and forth on his feet. davey jacobs, casanova. “is this--- sorry, is this yours? it looks kind of-- significant.” a tight smile as he adjusts his glasses and brandishes the small piece of paper in question. he could’ve sworn he’d seen it fall from her bag or her pocket or something, a pass or ticket or maybe even an invitation.
