@elenatria @alyeen1 so, I reread Simon Smith’s interview in “Art of the Cut” and if I am understanding it correctly, he does confirm that OMITTED bits in the available Chernobyl script were filmed but then left out during the editing process!
Since the public version of the script still has a number of scenes that were not in the show (Boris and his grandson, Garanin, Pavel and the young recruit), I assume these were filmed, edited and only later cut out, but scenes like daytime Misha and Dyatlov’s son were omitted during the editing.
What would I give to get access to Simon Smith’s 10 terabytes of unprocessed dailies! 😱😱😱
Do you know what we’re doing here?
#huh huh never make Boris angry #scene made of gold
twelve hours before.
let someone else say it. not me. anyone but me.
I lied to the world.
Not in the script, improvised(?)
they want us to know.
