it’s uuuuh almost 1 am, i can’t sleep. so i wrote a sorta cherric thing

they confront him one day after school. way in the backseats of the school bus. it was question after question, all about things that were none of their damn business.

‘you were looking at her, weren’t you?’

‘what were you doing in the library during lunch?’

‘are you going to hurt her?’

he has a bullshit answer for each bullshit question.

“what about her hair, asshole?”

eric finally shuts up. what about her hair? it’s curly, long, and red. so so red, it matches the anger he feels each moment, every day. but not when he sees her, at least for those wonderful few minutes. then someone opens their damn mouth...

“what about it?” he snaps back. that was so pathetic. his voice could have been gruffer, he could’ve slipped in a vulgar word.

kyle scoffs. “isn’t she a ginger like me or anyone else you’ve made life a living hell for?”

eric could swing at him. one hard punch, and break his nose. bust open his lip. but eric holds himself together. don’t. make it. obvious.

“what, khal?” he retorts instead “jealous? want me to baby your ginger ass?”

kyle frowns while kenny snorts. that got them to shut up. for now. eric knows, he has to be more careful in the way he watches her.
