BUT GOOD MORNING OMG I DID SEE VARKA AND FLINS i must admit, i didn't want to like varka because he literally looks like a combination of aventurine and gepard (and could even possibly be their father in some distant universe) but he has since been growing on me (hoyo works hard, but fanartists work harder!!!!!!) and kr flins (i watched the trailer in kr) has me in a chokehold i agreeeee AND HE HAS LONG HAIRRRRRRR

you didn't ask but i'm going to give you my review on the new characters (in order of how i sent them to my bf LMAO too lazy to pull it up in order of twt posting):

nicole reeyn : i love her she's gorgeous and beautiful and SHE GIVES ME SOFT FRIEREN VIBES (sorry it might be the ears and the hair.....) 10/10

varka : yeah he's very handsome but i also can never unsee the aventurine and idk how to feel about that 😭 7/10

columbina : what lessons have we learned thus far? character in front of moon = strong + character looking over shoulder = strong -> thus columbina = my god, my religion, i will give her my entire being and more should she ask. i would do anything for her and i am not joking infinity/10

alice : the hat concept thing she has going on is so cute and funny AND SHE'S ALSO SO PRETTYYYYYY, i really hope hoyo can deliver with this because i feel like it could go either way?? 10/10

lauma : another moon-themed character, i'm very worried about the game model but the art itself and the trailer was so good, i fear that i will need her more than i do now...... 12/10

nefer : HOLYYYYYYY dude her in the art was so good but i was not expecting what i saw in the trailer 😭 sorry guys i'm very shallow...... 8/10

flins : he's hot and i think people are saying that he might be a polearm? very fitting i think but i'm actually not sure if i would pull for him, yk?? this might very well change when we get to see his splash art (same for varka and nefer and any others i'll given less than 10 points LOL) because i am a sucker for splash art

jahoda : cute, probably would not pull (she kinda reminds me of lucy? from zzz

durin : OMG HE'S FINALLY HEREEEE, currently leaning towards wanting to pull but i think it'll also depend on splash art, kit, quality, etc 8.5/10

sandrone : it took me a while to realize who she is but i'm excited to see how she'll play in the archon/main quest 8.5/10

aino : also cute, probably also would not pull but idk if they'll make her a 5 star so i might end up getting her on someone else's banner lol
