I notice that you pick up popular slang which I adore! I have always enjoyed how you were described by the book authors to be so interested in changing culture. Do you have a favorite slang phrase of the moment or decades past?

Oh I do my very best anyway.

I don’t think I’ve ever really thought about what my favorite modern slang would be but I certainly have heard phrases that make me laugh. Mostly from little Benji who keeps me up to date.

Some of these include:

Slay the the boots house down Houston I’m deceased (I can’t even imagine what this means please don’t ask me to define it it’s just something I hear)

Everything’s coming up Milhouse!

Yes, King!

Go off!

Work!

Period!

Extra, as in That’s so extra, you’re being extra, she’s so extra, etc.

I hear this one a lot from people regarding myself: Armand, you are doing the most

And many more! Because my brain is so small I can only keep a running record of a few of these at a time and use them whenever I need to particularly blend in. I think honestly the cursing of this century is what I use the most. You only need few words to convey an emotion when you slap fuck in there. And also when one is as old as I am, your personal vocabulary naturally evolves.

Asexual; I can fall in love with a person because of their personality, I can even be attracted to their physique, but I don't feel sexual attraction to that person or the libido is too low. (Personally I consider myself “asexual heterosexual” because I'm sure I like men. BUT, remembering the past I can't be sure whether or not I was interested in certain girls, because at that time it was the era of: “you can only like men, that's normal”. So I could never check if I really liked them or just wanted them as friends.
