Oh yea, i do remember them saying something like that. I haven’t gotten back to that episode yet, but it was like the one where they’re up at the lake and tony and Bobby are in the boat together, I think. I’ll have to pay closer attention to that scene when I get to it again. Been awhile since my last rewatch. I’m loving rewatching it again.
The first season to me is a little clunky, with some forgettable episodes, kinda episodes you can sorta doze off to or wander off to some parts, or rather the episodes don’t seem to have huge bearing on the overall story of the show, but they’re there to just kinda set up the world. Which makes sense. Still good stuff but To me season 2 is really where the show gets into its groove. This last episode I watched where chistipher gets shot is quintessential sopranos. You are glued to every scene. The music is perfect. It starts of and ends with Otis Redding’s my lovers prayer... it’s just so great!! The acting. The editing. The attention to detail! Every part of the episode is so perfect.
YES! i couldnt find the controller to shut it off so it was by accident, i would have def shut it off before that lol. i understand why they didnt put it in the movie, cause it almost didnt need to be there, but it was a good little quick cut montage. this was one of those shows that the more i thought about the more i liked. the more i thought back on previous episodes i remember predicting the ending in like episode 3 or 4 but then veering off and not really seeing it. the revelation amy adams makes about the floor was particularly disturbing/amazing that i didnt see eventhough it was so clear afterwards. it was such a crazy good detail. it was fantastic
LOL!!
thanks sweetpea!
hmmm... a happy sungay birthgay celebration?
big fat sloppy cocks all night long! sounds like a plan!
Oh great! Glad you liked it too! I think it’s a great horror movie! I watched it twice and was into it both times!
Yea, I know I watched the 3rd movie in the trilogy I was talking about called “mother of tears” on that fuckin app plex, and it was just as bad as watching shit on cable. Every 10-15mins a 2 min commercial came on, and I was not happy. I fuckin hate these free movie apps like that. There’s like tubi or pluto or freevee, all show tons of movies but you have to sit thru commercials, and it’s fucking cable all over again.
But yea, def watch the original suspiria without commercials if you can. I still like it, eventhough it’s Italian movie nonsense lol
How do you feel about big name actors being brought in to do the big political characters instead of the cast members playing them like they always used to?
You know, even though I’d prefer it to be people from the cast, it doesn’t really bother me at all and it’s not even all that surprising either. I feel like they’ve been inching towards doing this for a very long time, not even in the past 2-3 years, more like the past 10-15 or so years. It probably feels that way now because it’s more visible, but they’ve been heading in that direction for years. I don’t wanna post a super long post on this so I’ll try to shorten things down from this theory I’ve had for the longest that’s a mixture of a few things, hopefully I’ll make some sense here. The 2004 election cycle was not good, got poor ratings and barely had any media coverage, the 2008 election cycle brought in a good amount of celebrity cameos and that was really successful. I know those were like years ago, but it feels to me like 2008 kinda set the gameplan moving forward as to how they decide to handle election stuff from now on. Also, we’ve gone about almost a decade without having a leading male cast member, or at least a guy on the same level as Kate, either through cast members not panning out to be something good or nothing more than supporting cast, or just people who shouldn’t had been hired in the first place. There’s a lot more into this, but it boils down to them doubling down on stuff that worked extremely well for them in the past and not building up any male cast members that could/should take over the presidential impressions.
